Easy Broccoli Casserole #Recipe

  • 14 oz bag chopped broccoli
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 saltine crackers
  • 2 Tbls. butter
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil broccoli and onions in a medium sized sauce pan until tender - approximately 5-7 minutes once boiling.
  3. While broccoli and onions are boiling, mix mushroom soup, milk and grated cheese in a small to medium size bowl.
  4. Once broccoli and onions are tender, drain and place in sprayed casserole dish (8x8, 9x9, or 2 quart).
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the top of the broccoli and onions.
  6. Roll (crush) crackers and sprinkle on top of the soup mixture. I use a baggie, which makes easy work of crunching the crackers.
  7. Top with drops of the butter - no need to melt, just drop randomly on the top of the crackers.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
