Sunshine-Themed Cupcakes

Ingredients
  • 12 cupcakes from your favorite recipe or boxed mix
  • 2 to 3 cups vanilla frosting in yellow (Used Pillsbury Funfetti Frosting in Yellow)
  • Bugles corn snacks

  • You will also need:

  • Large open star tip (Wilton 1M Open Star Piping Tip)
  • Piping bag
Instructions
  1. Pipe frosting over cupcake in a circular direction working from the center of the cupcake towards the outside.
  2. Place Bugles along the edge of the icing, pressing firmly, to represent the sun’s rays.
Notes
Cooks notes: If you want to add a step to this idea, coat Bugles in melted yellow candy wafers. Allow to dry before applying to the cupcakes.
