Strawberry Mug Cake Recipe for a Single-Serve Delight!
Recipe type: Dessert
Prep time:
Cook time:
Total time:
Serves: 1 mug cake

Ingredients
  • 1½ tbs. butter
  • 3 tbs. milk
  • 2 tbs. sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • ¼ cup all-Purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small diced strawberry, plus additional strawberries for serving
  • Reddi-wip Original Dairy Whipped Topping, if desired.
Instructions
  1. Place butter in a large microwave-safe mug and soften in microwave.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients, including a few (not to many, as it will make the batter to heavy) of the diced strawberry bits. Mix until just combined. Add the remaining diced strawberries on the top.
  3. Microwave on high for approximately 2 minutes. If after 2 minutes it is still moist, microwave an additional 15 seconds. 2 minutes is perfect in my microwave, but microwaves can vary. Do not overcook!
  4. Remove from the microwave.
  5. You can eat it straight from the mug or loosen around the edge with a butter knife and invert onto a plate.
  6. Serve while warm with ice cream, additional strawberries, and topped with Whipped Topping if desired.
  7. Enjoy!
Notes
Can use Self-Rising flour in place of the All-Purpose except omit the baking powder.
