About Finders Seekers
This subscription service delivers a curious package to your home once a month. Inside there are abundant cryptic clues and puzzles that vary by month to get you thinking. Each box takes you to a unique locale where you will explore local traditions, and uncover cultures while you journey. You will be solving the puzzles as you learn about the location, using the Finders Seekers website and research
If you love beating the clock in escape rooms and watching Nicolas Cage decipher clues in National Treasure then this is your game!
Boston
My Finders Seekers box took my family to Boston. The box had everything we would need to embark on our adventure. It was really neat to explore what Boston had to offer and try and solve the clues as we went. We learned a lot of great history facts in a fun way. We were able to research classic literary quotes, and study the Declaration of Independence. We also had to translate from Latin to English, which was easy with a smart phone.
Then we got to find hidden clues with a black light pen, and all the while we were earning tokens on the Finders Seekers site. Once you complete you mission or “Find” you can enter to win. Since some clues are difficult there is a great Facebook forum of fellow seekers to help you along with your “Find”
Mom’s Thoughts
This is a fabulous idea! You can really tell that a lot of work goes into creating each Finders Seekers box. I got a box to journey to Sydney Australia as well, and I cant wait to start that adventure. Both boxes were full of authentic looking papers and clues. Since the clues are not easy, it takes true thinking, researching, and collaborating with friends and family to solve the “Find” It was fun and we really were challenged by this fun experience. I think these boxes would be great fun for a youth group, or a girls night out. You could take your box to a park or a coffee shop and just set off on the adventure. In addition to being fun to do, they would be real fun to give as a gift!
