The Nickelodeon Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has released it’s newest DVD, Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady, on September 12th. How do you celebrate a new TMNT DVD? With pizza of course!
Dimensions collide in the time warping special, TMNT Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady. 1980’s Shredder and Krang transport themselves to present day NY and team up with Bebop and Rocksteady for an ultimate throwback throwdown against the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You’ll also get to see a flashback to where it all began with a rat and his four baby mutant turtles.
You can find TMNT party supplies at your local party store. Pick up a copy of the Nickelodeon Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady, order a couple pizzas for delivery, and add my TMNT “pizza” cake and you have the setting for a party that will make your kids say booyakasha! (as an 80’s kid the Turtles catchphrase will always be cowabunga).
My boys have grown up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just like their mama. I showed them the 90’s version, the movies (I had to tell my 9 year old who Vanilla Ice was), and now thanks to Nickelodeon and Paramount they get to enjoy the newer version of TMNT. We watched Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady. There are quite a few comical moments when the 21st century TMNT team up with their ’90s animated selves. When the eight heroes in a half shell join forces, the older turtles aren’t used to the serious nature of their modern day counterparts. BUT they all still love pizza. The DVD contains “Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady” as well as “Lone Rat & Cubs” and you’ll also find your kids asking for the Ice Cream Kitty music video on repeat (you’ve been warned haha).
Do your kids watch the Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon? The TMNT Wanted Bebop & Rocksteady DVD gets 4 out of 5 pizza slices from my family.
