Peak Your Child’s Interest in Science with Nancy B’s Science Club
Science is my boys absolute favorite subject. So, Nancy B’s Science Club science kits are right up their alley! From the moment the box opened, they stepped through the doors of their imagination from our kitchen table to their very own hi-tech science lab.
Black Light Illuminator
Perfect for ages 8-12, this Black Light Illuminator Kit is a big hit in our house. My 10-year-old son noticed that he can write on anything in the house with the special invisible ink pen without it being visible to anyone else. The black light is the only way to see it. Thankfully, he CAN do that and it really doesn’t leave marks visible to the human eye.
The kit comes with a black light, an invisible ink pen, and a workbook with all sorts of fun activities you can do to learn more about science.
Stir-It-Up Chemistry Lab & Kitchen Experiments
Allow your child to feel like a REAL scientist with this neat chemistry lab set that includes a beaker, 4 test tubes, a test tube rack, a graduated cylinder, lab glasses for the student, a dropper, a funnel, and a stirring stick. A booklet of science experiments using the chemistry lab and a few things that you will more than likely have in your kitchen cabinets (such as salt, food coloring, vinegar, and other things similar).
As soon as the chemistry lab came in the mail, my son was ready to start experimenting. Offering a realistic looking science lab to him gave him that much more of a desire to get started learning!
As a mom, I love the experiment book because it asks the children to draw pictures and write their observations through the experiments. The directions are clear which allowed my son to read it and follow the instructions all by himself!
Aquascope Underwater Exploration and Experimentation
I have never seen anything like this for kids and absolutely love it! Aquascope is an underwater telescope. It includes a built in LED light making it easy to see underwater even in the murky ponds. The built in thermometer strip allows your child to measure the water temperatures without even having to touch the water.
By moving the adjustable telescope up and down allows your child to make the object clearer. It was easy for my son to quickly be able to focus the objects himself. Needless to say, he is anxious for a beach trip now that he has this new, fun toy! The picture below shows the view through the lens of the little red toy in the top picture.
Just like all of Nancy B’s Science Club products, the Aquascope also comes with a journal full of fun science experiments. I love how my son is already beginning to make up his very own science experiments aside from the ones in the book now that he has done a few of those.
Science is a way more fun when you learn all the how’s and why’s. Nancy B’s Science Club has all sorts of fun tools your child can use to learn all about science!
