Craft EZ Oven
I really love to go to the craft studios where you paint something there, then you pick it up later after it is fired. Unfortunately for those you need spare time and they can be quite expensive. With three children I cannot really fit a trip to a studio in very well. That is one reason I love the Craft EZ Oven by Made4ustudio. This craft oven lets my children and me create many different crafts without leaving the house. Now we can do fun crafts at our leisure.
This cute colored oven is safe and easy to use. It has five different colored buttons that are set to the specific temperature each type of craft needs. The middle blue button comes on when the craft is cool enough to be removed from the oven with bare hands. Before the blue light comes on the oven is locked to prevent it being opened while it is hot. The Craft EZ Oven has two tool cups built in and a viewing window at the top to allow you to peek in at the craft while it cooks.
The different craft kits you can get to use with your oven are color coded as well. Therefore you know what button to push when baking your creations. Teal represents color and shrink activities. Red is crystal creations. Purple is paint and bake porcelain. Last, Yellow is mold and bake clay. When you get your oven it comes with a red and yellow craft to get you started.
The first kit we tried was the Butterfly Wind Chimes. I began helping and supervising my daughter, we did the butterfly shape together. Then I realized it was safe and easy for her to continue without me on that, since I had other things I had to do. She finished it up and with her dad’s help strung the pieces together and made a beautiful wind chime. She is very crafty, so other children might require more supervision.
Then we did the Porcelain Trinket Boxes, the kit we were both most excited to do. We sat together painting our boxes and enjoying each other’s company. Sharing our ideas and creating cute little boxes. You paint these porcelain boxes and then put them in the oven. They end up shinny and bright, and functional too. There were three in the box, so she did two and is giving the one pictured above to her best friend. She painted her friend’s initial in the box and her friend really loved it.
Then when you are through with your kits you can go and get different ones. There are many to chose from, and they would make great incentives for children. They would also make awesome gifts as a kit to make, or as finished products for your children to give away. These trinket boxes would make really lovely Valentine gifts. The sheer variety ensures there is a kit that everyone will like. My sons even enjoyed the crafts that came with the oven.
What craft will you do first?
