Whenever I receive a hand written card or letter in the mail it means a lot to me. The personal touch behind it and the loving thoughts directed my way make me extremely happy. I admit I do not write cards often enough, because it slips my mind. Therefore when I recieved my Holiday LetterBox from Sky of Blue Cards I couldn’t wait to begin. With so many pretty cards and writing items to use, I couldn’t get it off my mind.
About LetterBox by Sky of Blue Cards
Karla Ebrahimi founded LetterBox, a seasonal collection of cards and other tools for writing, sent out to subscribers four times a year.
Each box includes:
- 5 letterpress cards and envelopes.
- 5 custom-designed postage stamps.
- Plus at least two additional luxe lifestyle items and letter-writing accoutrements. These items which might include Karla’s favorite soy candles, writing pens, herbal teas, wine bottle tags, or even Fleur de Sel caramels from Karla’s favorite shop in San Francisco.
- Full year subscribers will receive a custom-made Maple block stamp with their name and address, and an ink pad.
LetterBox is designed to bring letter-writing back into the present. It is named after the red mail boxes in 19th century London. Since the name originates back in England around 1854, it perfectly depicts the desire of LetterBox to bring back a love for the written word. With this subscription LetterBox hopes to outfit your writing desk with all the best stationary and items needed to write letters. Then you can light the candle and sip some tea, sit down, and relax while you write.
The Holiday LetterBox was great. I received five cards, five envelopes, five winter stamps, a metallic silver pen, and wrapping paper that matched one of the cards. Along with that the box also contained wine tags, fancy gold foil tape, gift tags, and a cut clip. Most noteworthy was the delicious cocoa and Blue Spruce soy candle in the box. Now I can set the Christmas mood before I begin writing.
The cards arrived safely snuggled in plastic. I truly appreciate how well the box was packed, and how pretty it looked when I opened it. I already finished one Christmas card in beautiful silver metallic pen. Next I will write out some more and stick the included stamps on them. My friends will love receiving these beautiful cards this Christmas. Furthermore a subscription to LetterBox would be an epic present for several of my friends. In addition to the full subscription, you can also buy LetterBox by the individual box.
