If you haven’t added a chalkboard to your decor before, do it! Everyone in your home will gravitate to it AND they are so easy to make you really have no excuse not to! After you add the Thankful lettering that Where the Smiles Have Been shows you, you will have a stunning piece to share with your family all month long! (You may even love it so much you will never want to take it down!)

I don’t think I have ever seen a craft from the Country Chic Cottage that I didn’t want to immediately run out to buy supplies for — her Thanksgiving Mason Jar Craft is no exception either! I’m not usually the one who does well with paint and glass but I’m pretty excited to try my hand at this one. I love that the lettering stencils she used is both elegant and imperfect at the same time. It’s a jar I’d love to fill with wheat, autumn flowers, or a great gift for this year’s Thanksgiving hostess!

The first time I saw Organized 31’s recycled blocks project I couldn’t get over how genius they are — especially for families! Do you have any idea how many block games we have had over the years that have missing pieces? Dozens! My kids are kings and queens at losing pieces and leaving me frustrated by it. Now, instead of going bananas, I can get crafty! You can say that I’m pretty thankful to have stumbled upon this great recycled project from Organized 31 and I hope families everywhere feel the same.
