What’s your go-to garment when you’re taking your little one out to play?
Back when I was a single dad, my little guy Quinn was my constant companion. He was an independent kid, probably a lot like yours—funny, messy, and endlessly curious about the world around him. He had a habit of finding treasures wherever he went—a shiny rock, a seashell, a snail, a dropped coin—everything was fair game.
In those days, diaper bags only came in baby blue or candy pink, usually dotted with rainbows and unicorns. Decidedly Not Cool, especially for a guy.
This led me to design and create a special way for my son to carry his own toys, treasures, maybe a diaper change and a snack, just in case. The goal was to keep him warm in a super-soft, easy-care garment, and to foster his independence, his creativity, and his sense of style–not to mention my goal of not looking like a dork carrying a holly-hobby diaper bag.
My original design caught on. Everywhere we went, people wanted to know where they could get a backpack vest for their kid. Good news–now the Quin Vest is exclusively available at J-stitch online. Flawlessly constructed in a little workshop in Seattle, the first run is ready to ship.
Early feedback has been fantastic. Author and new mom Elizabeth Maas says she’s “obsessed” with it. World-renowned designer Tonya Hawkes says “Molto bravo!” Bestselling author Susan Wiggs writes, “Just when you think your kid can’t get any cuter, you put her in this cozy vest, and…wow!”
We’re offering free shipping on all orders to the US because we’re too excited to do the math. See the J-stitch difference for yourself: Each garment is American made by experts in a little workshop in Seattle. We use quality, construction with quality materials to create our ultra easy-care garments–wear, wash, dry, repeat. The Quin Vest is uniquely designed to foster independence, creativity, and convenience.
